Custom fonts can be embedded to reports in the Power BI Service, however when exporting to PDF or PPT the Custom Font will not show up anymore. Please allow the export to keep the custom font so everything stays consistent.
Thanks!

RE: Export to PDF with Custom Font
That is only reason we not upgrading from SSRS reports to Power BI
RE: Export to PDF with Custom Font
This feature would elevate user experience when exporting to PDF and align with what Analysts are being asked from a branding consistency and formatting perspective. At the minimum, the font options offered up by Report Builder should be embedded into the PDF instead of getting changed to the default (ex Century Gothic is offered in report builder and renders in the service, but when print to PDF it changes to Arial)
RE: Export to PDF with Custom Font
It makes no sense that custom fonts available in PowerPoint cannot be exported to PowerPoint! So frustrating!
RE: Export to PDF with Custom Font
This being a 'Microsoft' product - ALL of the installed fonts on the computer ought to be enabled for the product and readily useable. Obviously it would be up to an organisation to ensure any additional fonts are embedded throughout the company, but both the limitation on fonts to a very particular set to begin with and the lack of integration with Power Point (given the time this issue has been ongoing after being reported) isn't really acceptable.
RE: Export to PDF with Custom Font
"When exporting to PDF , reports with custom fonts like Lato and Montserrat will have the custom font replaced with a default font."This is a terrible limitation. Allowing custom fonts, but restricting the ability to export it negates the ability to use said custom font. Please allow the export to keep the custom font so everything stays consistent. Thanks!
RE: Export to PDF with Custom Font
The ability to embed font styles in reports that are exported via PDF. Maintaining the look of a report is important and if a user doesn't have Segoe installed on their computer (i.e. Mac users) then the look of the report will change.
Embedded fonts would solve this issue.
RE: Export to PDF with Custom Font
We can import a custom Theme that uses Corporate brand Colors and Fonts, but then the 'Export to PowerPoint' falls back to default fonts.
To send final reports to Customers this is a 'must have' feature on PBI Service.
Please allow the export to maintain chosen font,
Thanks!
RE: Export to PDF with Custom Font
"When exporting to PDF (PPT and copy image), reports using themes with custom fonts will have the custom font replaced with a default font."
This is a terrible limitation. Allowing custom fonts, but restricting the ability to export it negates the ability to use said custom font. I can't use our organization's custom font because it exports to Times New Roman and so all the work that was done for all users to import custom fonts via themes goes to waste.
RE: Export to PDF with Custom Font
I agree that this is a must have feature. Companies currently or starts to rely on Power Bi more and more. That means having proper branding in all functionality will be vital.
