It would be great if Read-only users (or a new user type) could create their own dashboards by pinning existing visuals from reports without providing them permission to edit the report.
In my experience we don't provide our clients with edit access so every time they need a new dashbord they request it to us which becomes a time consuming activity given the volume of clients and reports.

Yes, I second this. We can't provide creator rights for our reports and we have a diverse group of users who all use their own filter settings. It's silly that people can't create their own dashboards and have to rely on creator for this.
