Currently sharing an App containing a report connected to a dataset in a different workspace requires you to go the the source dataset and grant READ permissions to all APP users.
This is unintuitive. Sharing a Report automatically grants read access, so sharing an App that contains that report should do the same.

RE: Granting Permissions to an APP containing a report connected to a different workspace should allow users of the APP to see the reports
I have an example where Workspace1 has a shared dataset - and some reports using this.
The reports (not the dataset) are published in App1 which is shared with the entire organization.
The dataset has following permissions: Entire Organization: App (reshare, build)
In Workspace2 there's another report using the shared dataset in Workspace1. Some users that opens App2 (and haven't opened App1 before) sees an error message saying they need access to the underlying dataset. But when they go to App1 and back to App2 then they see the data from the underlying dataset.
I think that the users should not need to go to another app (nor see the error message).

This would have saved (and could save) many people a lot of time when setting this up.
