    It would be great to create or import a package of content into your PBI file that includes M queries and custom visualizations.

    It's quite tedious to re-import and copy-paste between files to reuse the content

    Good idea, although you can kind of already do this by saving a copy of your PBIX files and redirecting all of your source paths to the new data sources.
