Several customers and partners that were briefed have already asked about getting URL access to a Report for using inline frame type embedding in SharePoint, Web Pages and Web Applications.

Power BI has an easy to use embedding feature that enforces authentication and permissions. You can learn about it here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-embed-secure

RE: URL access to Report

Just expose every report as an image, accessible via a URL, as per https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/10671426-access-a-power-bi-report-as-an-image
Simplicity in the extreme.

These need to be able to be secured by applying permissions to them unlike the current Publish from Power BI to the web which is meant for external publishing. I have many customers who want to be able to publish URLs and embed them in their ERP systems but the requirement is that they can be viewed if the user has permission.

RE: URL access to Report

Love the ability to apply a custom URL for a Dashboard item, but for items rendered from a Q&A, it would be great to be able to direct the click action to a REPORT. Similar to URL access

RE: URL access to Report

I'd love to have this feature. Any way we can make PowerBI visualizations and filters more portable will help reduce our complexity. However, they'll need to address licensing as well. If the embeds are only visible to internal O365 subscribers that also have a PowerBI license, the audience will limited right out of the gate.

Here's where I've suggested they address enabling a better web dashboard / report distribution model:
