Hello Team,
We have applied Dynamic RLS for the report and published to Power BI Service. When the dataset admin or the workspace admin wants to test the user by clicking on test as role > if they "select the role" they were unable to get the filtered data with RLS but if we enter the email alias in place of "Enter email address" then we can able to see the filtered data with dynamic RLS (User Principle Name).
If we give the Dynamic RLS for the report only that particular user is able to see the filtered data based on their role in their Power BI Service . We have received confirmation from Microsoft Power BI Team as it is a by design feature , but we request to allow workspace admins or the datasets owners to see the dynamic RLS when they "select the role ".
We request you to implement the requested feature in the future releases of Power BI , it would very helpful for the users to check the behavior instead of reaching to the particular user.
Thank you in advance.

RE: Test as Role is not working for dynamic RLS when they select the role.
When you test a dynamic role in service you do not have to select the role and then enter the value. Instead you simply enter the email address without selecting the role first and it will return the view for the selected email.
