Personal Dashboards

Is it possible to add the option to create user-specific dashboards which are not tied to a workspace?
My customers have had the problem that they would like their users to be able to create dashboards from all the reports which have been shared with them, without the users needing to be part of the workspace in which these reports live. The reason is that these users are not supposed to access all the reports in the workspace, only some specific ones and still be able to create dashboards from them (Currently, in these cases, the "Pin" Option is greyed out "Read-only conent can't be pinned").

I was thinking along the lines of "personal dashboards" which are created independently of a specific workspace, which can be created from all the content available to the user and not just on content from workspaces of which the user is a member. These personal dashboards could be stored on the users personal workspace.
