Currently the list of date and date time formats is very restrictive and there are no date formats with MMM.
MM should never be used unless in ISO format because it appears as the first element in American culture and the second element in most others creating ambiguity.
The underlying Vertipaq engine supports any valid format so the user should be able to type one in.

Again, the PBI teams needs realise that most of the world uses dd-mm-yyyy format. Defaulting everything to mm-dd-yyyy means they ignore the needs of (almost) anyone outside outside of the US. Please either use the ISO format or replace month number with month (short) name,
