I live in a country with not so widespread currency. Therefor I have to scroll down a list EVERY TIME i want to change the format of numbers to my preferred currency. It's so frustrating and boring I decided, finally, to put this dilemma of mine and surely others, to this idea section.

I would like to be able to set MY CURRENCY as DEFAULT or add whatever currency to some kind of a favourite list.

Kindly give this simple solution a vote up. Thanks

RE: Set Local Currency as Default

At document level and maybe also at global level it should be possible in the Regional Settings section to set the default currency formatting for the document. So if you want to format a field as currency, the default formatting is automatically applied. For example, most of the time I'm using Euro with zero decimals for currency formatting in my reports.

Even a format box like the date fields could help - almost all of the currency figures i want to display is in GBP with no decimals. If a custom or default format was available it would save me valuable clicking time :)

Useful indeed. Too much scrolling at the moment, and the inability to use the keyboard to select the first letter of our currency.
