CompletedWhen will the KPI Red/Yellow/Green Indicators be available on PowerBI Desktop?
Power BI User on 18 Aug 2015 20:04:15
KPI Red/Yellow/Green Indicators were available in Power Pivot. With the new Power BI Desktop this feature is not available anymore. If you import from PP to the Desktop it converts the RYG Indicator Dots to a number. Will the Red/Yellow/Green Indicators be added back to PowerBI Desktop? If so When?

It's very exciting to be able to close this idea! With the July 2019 release of Power BI Desktop you can now create icon sets that show status indicators, in fact a whole range of icons, in your table and matrix visuals. You can read more in Amanda's blog post here: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-desktop-july-2019-feature-summary/#iconSets For those of you who want to have the KPI definition stored in the model itself, please vote on this idea for us to track interest there: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200/suggestions/38181139 Thanks for engaging with the ideas forum and helping us build the product you need!

Please look into the size of the KPI as well. As we cannot change the size we are currently as a work around using the table visual where we can set the size as we want. The we get the desired layout if we do not show totalts. Pleeeease look into this. https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/15679131-kpi-customization-font-size#comments

While I agree that KPI Red/Yellow/Green Indicators is a great feature to have, if you are not connecting to a tabular model but this will not resolve the dynamic KPI threshold issue, whether you are connected to tabular model or not
Please see http://www.mssqlgirl.com/dynamic-kpi-threshold-in-tabular-or-power-pivot.html
We do have a workaround to overcome dynamic KPI threshold issue by creating measure as a SVG and categorize as an image URL but this does not work if you connect to tabular model or live connections to databases
Please vote for below link as this will be a great workaround to overcome this problem

Any Update on this feature?

No built-in feature for colored KPI indicators. Advance Card unichar arrows don't display properly with Internet Explorer. It's almost disrespectful that this feature isn't added by default.

You can currently add KPI indicators to Power BI models using Tabular Editor, however it would be nice if you could do this natively within Power BI.

As many others have mentioned, date comparison conditional formatting is a huge value, with numerous applications. Please add.

Please add this functionality. I was unhappily surprised to find it is not available in Power BI yet.
