When we have report builders creating reports, they are connected to a semantic model. and when they drag in measures they have the title of the measure but its a black box. they dont know what is driving it.

A lot of the time, the model creator is asked. Whats behind this? How does this work?

It would be so useful if the report builder could actually see the DAX behind the measure. So at least they would be able to understand it.

It would be really good if this could be built into Desktop for these users. It would save a lot of questions and going back and forwards between the file containing the model and the report file.

Please, please, please enable this. I asked at the Fabric conference and they said this was not available because of security concerns. it would be great is you could allow the owner of the model, workspace or tenant to turn this feature on. Maybe a right click on the field and show DAX feature. Or show the DAX below any description information provided.
