Ability to have multiple windows open for one document, just like Excel.
Excel - View tab, "New Window"
This function will save some headache while manipulating with the data, and having to click back forth between the tables or even the relationships.

RE: Multiple Windows
option to enable the drill-through, especially the cross-report one in a new window is a must.
RE: Multiple Windows
Providing the ability to open the report view, data view and relationship view in separate windows but be very beneficial. When it comes to trouble shooting complex DAX issues or relationship conundrums you can often find yourself switching between each view over and over which can become tedious and can often break your momentum and lead to losing concentration which is frustrating when problem solving. Transform data opens in a separate window so I do not see why it couldn't be an option for the report, data and relationship views.Thanks.
RE: Multiple Windows
Hi,
I'd find it very useful if PowerBI had the capability of having an additional window so you have the same file opened on two different windows.
This capability is already in Excel (View > New Window).
It becomes very useful to have two screens to compare formulas, referred back to tables, columns, measurement names...etc.
Let me know your thoughts!
Thank you,
Salvador
RE: Multiple Windows
To allow the user to open multiple windows for the same file, similar to what is offered in Excel (View ribbon > New Window), where a user can work on the same document in different places. I would love to see this enabled to allow opening the Report view, Date view and Relationships view in multiple windows. Power Bi does allow opening Transform Data in standalone window which is fantastic feature.
My productivity on Excel went up dramatically when I started using this feature, so I look forward to have the same in Power BI.
Thanks
RE: Multiple Windows
Now as of January 2017, there are multiple panes that can be added to the PowerBI desktop report space:
Selection, Field Properties, Bookmarks
I would like to be able to Pop out these additional panes into a separate window similar to how Adobe does Layers or Swatches.. This way when I am working on a dual monitor system I could Pop out the additional panes and keep them on a secondary monitor while I work in my report.
RE: Multiple Windows
Functional Pane (Filter, Bookmark, etc.) in external window.
Usually BI developer can work on multiple screens. When you customize filters, and bookmarks you need to have many pane - Filter, Bookmark, Selection, Visual, Field, which decrease you size of you dashboard page you work on. Why not provide functionality where you can have Selection pane and Bookmark pane moved to additional screen?
RE: Multiple Windows
Add option to detatch the reports screen from edition panels.
Working with tables/fields, visualizations with properties, bookmarks panel, selection panel and others... can use a lot of screen and the report goes beeing small, and hard to see the efects of edition, measures in tables etc.
An option, could be detatch the report layout to render in full screen in a separeted window, in my case, put one of these screens in a second monitor to develop more efficiently.
