Need a pop-out box for placing Filters/Slicer boxes into. I have several pages in my reports, and given the audiences viewing thee data as well as the type of data, some of these pages contain 2-5 slicers. Slicers take up an increased amount of space on the visual page - if there was an icon that could be inserted into the page, which when clicked, would open up a 'pop-up' box showing all of the slicer boxes, that would really help.

True you can build your own pane using bookmarks and lots of various settings, but it would be nice to just have a slicer pane if possible. Also, the average bear isn't going to attempt this without giving up in frustration.

I thought the filter pane would address this issue but it does not. I am confused why the filter pane even exists, as it is just a replica of the filter pane next to it. I am trying to give users a consistent report experience, not use a few slicers here but then jump to the filter pane for other options.

Are you thinking something like this? David Eldersveld => collapsible slicer pane...very clever usage of buttons (click on top left button to see)

would want these to be individually controlled maybe the title and a drop down for selection (maybe the individual selection remain after selected (or all). I agree that they look terrible on a page
