On some charts that are composed of multiple measures, when you turn on data labels it turns on labels for all measures. It would be very useful to select which measures you would want the data labels to display.

This does not work on the combo chart. Didn't this work previously?
RE: Select which data labels to display.
Hi Amanda,
I have the latest desktop version and I don't see the option to turn on only specific data labels in multi-graphs. For instance if I use the Line and Stacked Column chart when I hit turn on data labels it turns all on, what if I only want the stacked column labels and not the line labels to show. Is that possible?

Labeled as fixed here: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/9810459-to-customize-legend-names
You can change the column name in the incoming data file but you may not want that in every label. Furthermore if you chart aggregates the data it will add "Average of .." to your label. This makes the label too long, truncating all of the useful text so that each label only read "Average of e...". We want to change the LABEL not the COLUMN name.
