Possibility to embed PowerBI Application in a portal

In order to separate responsabilities in our organization, we deploy PowerBI applications (containing several reports, using RLS and audience management) and we aim to have the possibility to embed those PowerBI applications in portals. Apparently, only reports embedding is possible but it doesn't match our need as we want to get benefit from audience management and the flexibility to add reports in the app independently from the portal.

Is it possible to extend the PowerBI feature of "embedding into portal" to applications and not only reports ?
