Include the Filter type to the new filter that introduced in November 2018 update. So the report can be displayed in date that pre-filtered in the 'Relative date filtering', and the report users can also have the option to use the 'Advanced filtering' to see information in specified period.

RE: Filter type

While the new filter experience is more streamlined. Regular users are complaining about the lack of functionality and not being able to switch between Basic or Advanced depending on their needs. I would have to agree with Michael, the previous filtering experience was superior.

RE: Filter type

The new filter experience is welcomed, but removing the filter type makes this new filter a negative experience. Much of the reporting in place leveraged the different types of filters, and with it missing - the new filters are rendered less capable than the previous version. If the filters type cannot be brought back, I must say the previous filtering experience was superior and this is not an improvement.

RE: Filter type

This is definitely needed in order for our organization to use the new filtering system.

RE: Filter type

This is a necessity, we needed to hide certain filters from report users but now the have lost the main feature of a report which defaults to compare today with 1 year ago (relative date filter) but allows the user to compare any 2 dates in the past for analysis.
