In an enterprise environment setting permissions based on security groups is key. Access to workspaces can be set on security groups in the workspace admin experience. However when you use the Admin Portal, go to workspaces, click the 3 dots for actions and select access you can only set permissions based on emails (so individual users or O365 groups). This is not consistent and should be changed because especially admins need to be able to leverage security groups for workspace access...

RE: Allow to use Security Groups in the Admin Portal for setting Workspace access permissions

Seems crazy that it can't be done from the BI Admin Centre. The dialogue boxes are the same... just not pulling through the Groups when search is invoked via the UI?

Wasted time yesterday making sure I wasn't missing something in group or Tenant config yesterday when trying to add a group to multiple workspaces yesterday.

Another point to note is that as a BI Admin I can see all Workspaces from the BI Admin centre. I can only see the ones shared with me from the Power BI Service. That's the way it should be, but it makes admin of security more of a pain than it needs to be and would be if we had this feature.
