Ability to only have one apply button on a report to apply changes to slicers (new buttons added into Nov Update) rather than each slicer having an apply button as presently they make reports look untidy and confusing

RE: Only one apply button on Power BI slicer selection

It would be nice to be able to group Sclicers together and have only one Apply button for all grouped Slicers.

It looks very odd and ugly when I have 5 or more slicers and each has its own Apply button

It would be look better if we can have one "Apply" buttom for all slicers or we can select which slicer to use "Apply" button and which not.

RE: Only one apply button on Power BI slicer selection

idea was posted in 2017, its 2020 now, i don't think this feature is coming anytime soon :(

There should also be the option to choose which slicers the apply button links to. e.g. if the user selects a region slicer then it slices straight away but if the enter values for the whatif parameters, wait until the apply button is pressed. idea is to let you choose what the apply button controls.

btw i would imagine this would be a priority for microsoft as it would significantly reduce the amoutn of queries hitting the serviers no?

RE: Only one apply button on Power BI slicer selection

This is important for dashboards that have many parameter tables, since they are interacted with much better with slicers than the filter pane. I propose solving this by adding an "Apply Slicers" option to a button's Action type. This would allow the user to place the Apply All button where it makes sense. The slicer code could remain similar to the current Apply button code, except the individual buttons are no longer necessary, as the user defined Apply All button would be automatically linked to them all.

Yes, please do this! This would greatly enhance our current dashboard flow for our users.

It's not letting me vote for some reason, but I 100% agree with this request. The ability for each slicer or filter to have the apply button turned on or off would be great

RE: Only one apply button on Power BI slicer selection

This would be amazing. Seems somewhat inefficient to have a button for every slicer.

Yeah also would be nice to be able to turn on/off for each slicer individually. Then further to be able to customize the look and feel of the apply button so that it doesn't take up so much room. Especially since I have a composite model and only want to turn it on for the pages that utilize Direct Query. I don't know how that would work for synchronized slicers but there has to be a better solution to this that just all or nothing.
