As has been partly implemented with Filters, it would be very useful to have slicers that could apply to all pages of a report. This would allow users to interact more easily.

The most exciting news so far this year! In the February release of Power BI Desktop we've shipped the ability to synchronize slicers on different pages in your report! You can read more about how the feature works here: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-desktop-february-2018-feature-summary/#syncSlicers Thanks again for everyone's feedback and votes on this feature. We do listen to you so keep voting and let us know what other things you need us to prioritize.

RE: Allows Slicers to apply to all Pages of a Report

Dan Green is right, we have to copy and paste all filters on each page. After that I resize them to the minimum to hide them to the user. I think a check in the initial filter is better.

This requires the same slicer on each page. It would be better if a slicer on page one can affect visuals on other pages without needed to have the same slicer.

Would be good to have this functionality (as a tick in the slider properties)

RE: Allows Slicers to apply to all Pages of a Report

Further work needed

Thanks for the basic slicer, however I needed to be able to show a list of all Project Managers on one page, the selected PM being used to show their project details on subsequent pages. Unfortunately, due to the luxury of having several PMs, the list goes over one screen, unless I shrink the font and supply a magnifying glass.

Someone suggested using the ChicletSlicer (1.6.0) which allows you to split the list into columns across the visualisation, thereby making it readable.

The only drawback, Sync slicer doesn't recognise it as a slicer so won't pick up the selection

Please can this solution be extended to all slicers.

Sorry i'm not agree. It's NOT completed, until a single slicer in a single place apply to all pages this idea will not be completed.
