When entering the "See Records" view, it allows you to decide which columns you view while you are in the "See Records", but after exiting "See Records" it reverts to the original view and removes the edits.
There should be an option to save the edits made within the "See Records" view so the unnecessary columns can be removed and the important information can be viewed more easily, and can be saved so the report keeps the edits made when saved.

RE: See Records Column Setup
Can the Microsoft Team please look into this. This is a must have feature for Power BI to compete with any other Business Analytics tool out there. Disappointed this hasn't gotten fixed since it was mentioned 2 years ago

Hey PBI Team. Any news on this feature?
RE: See Records Column Setup
As a Report Author when building a report I want to be able to define a default view for See Records functionality (across visuals? or per visual? - either way) so that I can make the records view easy to use for my users.
This should include the ability to hide, reorder and sorting of columns in the default view
RE: See Records Column Setup
Microsoft wants Power BI to be a true competitor in the BI world this is a must have.
