When entering the "See Records" view, it allows you to decide which columns you view while you are in the "See Records", but after exiting "See Records" it reverts to the original view and removes the edits.
There should be an option to save the edits made within the "See Records" view so the unnecessary columns can be removed and the important information can be viewed more easily, and can be saved so the report keeps the edits made when saved.

RE: See Records Column Setup
This is really vital! At the moment will have to do some kind of crazy work around for our users. Not ideal.

RE: See Records Column Setup
Very Important. It works for the first time save but disappear as soon as we go back to the report. Please fix this asap!
RE: See Records Column Setup
We immensely need this feature.
Makes no sense to implement the "see records" feature without being able to customize which columns to display for the user. This is critical.
RE: See Records Column Setup
Please do this! I'm betting customers would prefer this over most of the features that have been added in recent releases.
RE: See Records Column Setup
I need to be able to select a set of specific fields in a specific order and save the criteria for the "See Records" functionality. This needs to remain a static view. End users do not want to go through the edit process. This is a crucial feature of doing root cause analysis.
RE: See Records Column Setup
It is frustrating that it allows you to customize the see records view in Power BI Desktop when viewing the records, but doesn't save it when you exit.
This is very important feature to allow users to drill into the data for full analysis.
RE: See Records Column Setup
This is a must ... I'm not sure why this is not started yet !
