It takes a lot of time to download report with large dataset. For ex. 750MB of data can take 5 more hours to be downloaded, or if it is distributed team then some members are not able to download report at all to modify. In case if you don't have empty (.pbix) file or template (.pbit) it's a trouble ... is it possible to add download template feature from the Power BI Report online?

We run a script-based version management of our server-based PowerBI reports..Currently, we rely on downloading and holding the full PBIX files (i.e. with all data).This takes up an unnecessary amount of disk space with more than 160 reports.Version management only requires the data model, not the actual data.Therefore, a download option for PBIT files from the server would be very useful here!

This should also include the ability to download large datasets, incremental datasets, and those using shared datasets which at the moment cannot be downloaded.

This would also be useful for users who do not have "Edit" permission. An option to download the PBIT for users with only read access would be great, so they can download the template and create their own version of the report. Maybe a new permission to do this?
