Functionality from Excel 2013 - user-defined heirarchy

In Excel 2013 the user can define a heirarchy of related fields as a reusable list. Eg. Year, Quarter, Month, Week, Day.

The user can this add the heirachy to reports with a pre-defined flow from high to low in the heirarchy.
