At the moment to embed reports in a intranet webpage we only have the option to put ?rs:Embed=True at the end of the url.
I have read (on this website) that there are plans to extend this so parameters could also be passed in the url, in a similar way that the current SSRS works.
Could we also have the Power BI JavaScript API enabled for Power BI Report Server, in a similar way to the Azure service has ?

RE: Power BI JavaScript API support for Report Server
Very useful feature to have. In absence of this, Power BI is becoming very restrictive.
RE: Power BI JavaScript API support for Report Server
Totally agree - we are currently developing a web app in which we want to incorporate interactive Power BI reports however we are unable to use the Azure Service (due to the nature of the data we are reporting on being very sensitive) and the default behaviors don't quite provide enough flexibility for what we need.
At the moment we may end up having to use a (obviously inferior) JavaScript reporting library to do this - please Microsoft make this happen!
RE: Power BI JavaScript API support for Report Server
This would be absolutely essential for power bi becoming a de facto reporting tool and integrating into our app ecosystem

JavaScript API essential to adoption as we want to embed in apps

Row Level Security and being able to hide and show tabs based on User/Role would be greatly appreciated in a JavaScript API when used with PowerBI Report Server.
