When editing DAX it is often very inconvenient that the formula displayed on the screen overlaps the visual so we cannot see the effect of changing the formula on the visuals without first closing the editing window. Please make the DAX editor a separate pane that can be docked and resized independently.
It would be fantastic if we could have a split screen that shows DAX formula, report visuals and then the Data or Model views below or beside the visuals, even floating!
Make Power BI Desktop behave similarly to Visual Studio where these things are entirely under the control of the user
