When you filter a column, the drop down showing the distinct items available to filter is fixed in its width. The problem is that if your item extends beyond the right edge of the window, you cant see the specific name of the item. If you are looking at a folder/file name combo, it frequently goes beyond. The best solution would be to allow for sizing of that box when its displayed.
