Power BI Report Builder tool should adapt the query optimization of Power BI Desktop tool

Hi Team,

Currently Power BI Desktop tool have robust query optimization engine which works perfectly for any kind of report.

If we create a simple matrix report out of a Power BI data model using normal PBI reports then it works perfectly fine with optimum performance, but if we create the same report using PBI Report builder using the same PBI data model it won't work for a very small data also.

Its due to the query generated by the Report builder which is not optimized as compared to PBI Desktop.

We have raised a support request with all the details of the query performance based on these two tools. They suggested to raise this an Idea to the community.

Report builder should use the same query optimization engine as that of PBI desktop, this will help end users to fully utilize report builder for their reporting.
