Dynamic Bookmarks - Data Driven Bookmarks
I would love the ability to dynamically set the bookmark to use based on the result of a Dax expression.
In its most basic I would use this function to determine which page a user would navigate to based on a drop down. This is a very simple example to demonstrate the required feature.

RE: Dynamic Bookmarks
The normal way of calling bookmarks by pressing a button is often not sufficient. I created a Drill-Through, on the target page the user can see a bunch of buttons which call certain bookmarks - but depending on the top level filter on the source page the users should see only the buttons that point to the correct bookmarks. I. e. Top Level Filter is Area1, Area2, Area3. If Area1 is selected the user should see only buttons on the drill-through page which point to bookmarks that refer to Area1, the buttons pointing to bookmarks Area 2 and 3 should be hidden.
RE: Dynamic Bookmarks
Add this functionality, please. It will be very usefull.
RE: Dynamic Bookmarks
Bookmarks functionality without DAX control is pretty much useless in advanced reporting, not sure why MS is still not realised the necessity of this option. Dynamic visibility is very very basic requirement in any reporting tool, please add it ASAP.
RE: Dynamic Bookmarks
This is very basic functionality and it should be there in Power BI.
RE: Dynamic Bookmarks
I need to create a multiple-chart spotlight by greying out other areas of the visual when a filter is activated. This filter will be activated by clicking on, say, a bar chart. While the filter is activated, I will like to simultaneously grey out areas that are not really affected to the activated visual filter. This will require the activation of bookmark with DAX e.g. If(Hasonefilter(), Activatebookmark)
RE: Dynamic Bookmarks
I am unable to understand that Microsoft is still looking for votes to add some features which must be there in BI platform. This should be default feature there.
RE: Dynamic Bookmarks
if panels / panelstacks are not the future of PBI platform and commitment is to bookmarks and Z order, calling bookmarks in DAX is mandatory.
RE: Dynamic Bookmarks
this would make user experience in PBI so much more fluid, so many what i consider unnecessary clicks will go away. actually shocked this isn't implemented already. things i would routinely do in MicroStrategy with ease are ridiculously complicated without this.
RE: Dynamic Bookmarks
Please implement this feature
