To address the challenges of organizing and presenting data due to the limitations of column and row headers, a potential solution would be to implement a new matrix visual with customizable controls, allowing report creators to adjust the dimensions of columns and rows, group them hierarchically, apply diverse styles, and use conditional formatting.

RE: Epic idea: Row and column headers enhancements
This was suggested 7 years ago, and it is still not implemented.Microsoft's product management team should be penalized for such ignorant and arrogant behaviour.
RE: Epic idea: Row and column headers enhancements
Yes, This is needed.
RE: Epic idea: Row and column headers enhancements
such a trivial request - surprised it does not exist
RE: Epic idea: Row and column headers enhancements
Definitely feels like it was missing when I went looking for it - work around of white text doesnt really work. With row header we can manually adjust the size of the column to nothing - this doesnt work for rows unfortunately.
RE: Epic idea: Row and column headers enhancements
One would have thought this is a straight forward exercise.
RE: Epic idea: Row and column headers enhancements
Really, no option to disable visual headers - unbelievable!!!! Other analytic tools have this option. Please add option to NOT show column headers. Would also like to have option to disable column sort on table visuals - whole table and/or selected columns.
RE: Epic idea: Row and column headers enhancements
Simple functionality such as this feature creates resistance migrating from Tableau to Power BI.
RE: Epic idea: Row and column headers enhancements
You can already do this in Tableau... This should be a quick, easy fix please!
RE: Epic idea: Row and column headers enhancements
Pretty please? Remove table headers. Seems so easy.
RE: Epic idea: Row and column headers enhancements
This would be great. As it stands, if I want to have a row of measures without headers, I need to create a table and then cover up the headers with a square the same color as the background. It's less than ideal.
