I used the query editor to create several unrelated tables and created an index column for each. When I applied the query and returned to PBI Desktop main screen, a relationship was automatically detected between the columns because they shared a name. This frustrated later efforts to link tables, as certain index columns were not unique. I had to open the 'Manage Relationships' option and delete each relation. Either columns called 'index' should not auto-detect, or each auto-index column should be named with the table name as a prefix/suffix.
