Currently I use Power BI to analysis daily cost data. Each day I add another file to the system to pull into the analysis. As my files increase, it takes longer and longer to refresh and pull the new data into the system. Since I am using financials and once the day is past, the data will not change, it is bogging down the refresh looking for changes in each file, when in reality it should only check to make sure all the previous files are there, and then refresh with only adding the new data. This would cut down on the time it takes to analyze for the refresh. Currently with a month worth of data, it is taking up to 30 minutes to refresh my files.
