Currently the data-export option is hidden in an invisible ellipsis. One needs to know where that invisible ellipsis is, then they need to hover over it, then they can click it, and finally they can see that this is where they can choose the "Export" option. In my experience, exporting data is a pretty common task, so I don't understand why you go to such great lengths to make it difficult to find.

Export button needs to be a proper button function and not be hidden like solving a puzzle for non tech users. Just place it on report and it exports.

This would be a significant improvement to the usability of reports for end users. I was very surprised to find that this function isn't already available and can find no work-around to allow me to create an easy access download function

For a super-duper Reporting tool, Power BI lacks some basic functionality. Maybe there is a way to do this with some coding of a webpage in Visual Studio wrapping the Power BI Report?

Although PB environment is should be enough, it is key for user's adoption to have the possibility to export in excel the overal report at once - thanks for that guys!

I just got a requirement that expects the same, they need a button on screen to export to excel. My suggestion here for this feature is that instead of always showing it, it should be on demand and can be placed on report as independent object tied to a dash.

Agree - it would be really cool to add a visible button user can click to export current filtered report as an excel document. some end users like the visuals but need a report in excel format for remediation tasks (filtering the report in Power BI saves them from having to manually filter an excel document) - DB can then be dual purpose (Executive View and Engineer view) . thanks.
Either this or the ability to export filter values from slicers in a url format to another server that can generate the report faster in either excel or csv formate - something like this -
