Measure DAX on Live Datasets

Using single datasets and for source of truth measure utilization across reports is a great feature of Power BI. Unfortunately, measure calculations present challenges for on-demand, heads up confirmation of proper utilization as developers cannot see the underlying DAX. While it does not need to be (and should not be) editable when connecting to a live dataset, ideally a measure could be selected or present a hover that provides some sort of read only display of the underlying DAX. This would enable more agile development and prevent errors.
