It can be unwieldy to manage measures and columns, especially when custom measures and columns are built on top of other measures and columns. It would be helpful to have a [Where Used] option to provide a list of visuals and/or columns/measures where a particular column is used. That way you can delete unneeded measures/columns without worrying about breaking everything.

Our customer need this, and other customers I've worked with also need this
RE: List where a column or measure is used in a report
Very much needed! The only way to build systems that don't rot is to have simple processes for changing things. This is a major missing feature that prevents us from doing that.

This is sorely needed within my org to improve reports built a while ago

This would be a HUGE win! Please implement whenever possible!

Using the Power BI API for a reports.Get() method, it shows *SOME* information on each report. If they just added in more metadata to the API to show which tables/measures/columns/etc were being used in that report, automation could be done to find specific reports using a particular table. Please add this!

"Trace Precedents" and "Trace Dependents" have been standard, native Excel tools to determine what cell(s) effect(s) or is/are being effected by the currently selected cell. PBI should have a column/field level functionality of the same variety. This is basic.

Would be great to have this feature in Power BI.

Worth having it. Saves a lot of time.
