Currently, you can only customize the LAYOUT of the report objects you have created on the MOBILE, organizing the order they will appear on a mobile phone screen.
Most of the time they look BETTER in the original landscape preview than on this MOBILE layout, simply because its very difficult to find a good balance between optimal font size for desktop layout and mobile layout. What looks good in one, usuallly is too much or too little in the other.
Bottonline, we need to be able to have FULL CONTROL of all the design features also for the MOBILE Layout, making them independent from each other.

RE: Independent and FULL control for MOBILE VERSION of report
I do agreed on this. There should be different setting available where we can setup different background for phone view, because when we setup background color for desktop then image is stretching in Mobile view.
RE: Independent and FULL control for MOBILE VERSION of report
Fonts appear way to large in Phone view
RE: Independent and FULL control for MOBILE VERSION of report
'This is a must have.
@Roy, does responsive option still exists? I dont see it.
Since it was a preview as per article you shared, so wondering if it was ever made generally available?
RE: Independent and FULL control for MOBILE VERSION of report
The option to disable the background image or use a seperate on would be very welcome, like soon
RE: Independent and FULL control for MOBILE VERSION of report
It should be able to use a separate picture or disable background image on mobileview versus desktop view. By now, the background image feature is pretty useless in mobile view. And therefore I can't use it in desktop view.

'@Roy, A work around is not a solution. I would prefer to be able to say to users "look at this visual in portrait mode, its a quick snapshot. Oh, you need more detail? Great, rotate your phone and zoom in."
Responsive visuals don't fix that. Making a default setting for the ease of use is great, dynamic visuals would be great too, however, please realize that there are multiple use cases and the ability to dig deeper is great.
Hiding visuals will not always work -- using separate report tabs won't work either as it will conflate the report in desktop.
Imho, the best and most effective way of managing visuals is the hide/show pane being independent in desktop and phone layouts.
RE: Independent and FULL control for MOBILE VERSION of report
'@Roy, the responsive design is not applicable to all type of visuals as far as I know. For example, I have a table with text, numbers, and images. In Phone view, i do not have the space to display the images (as the rows become too big) and I would like to have the same visual without the image to be displayed instead.
I am still hoping this could be managed in a nice way. Or maybe with preloaded bookmarks depending on the phone or desktop view (which would hide/show visuals)

ie. font, appearance and formatting
RE: Independent and FULL control for MOBILE VERSION of report
Need this as well! Smaller snaps and font size selection would be great!!

report can show background picture on Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service ,but when I view on my mobile ,I can not see my background picture instead of a white background ,is it the same situation ?
