Support of Dynamic M query Parameters for commonly used databases like SQL Databases!?!

So I was so excited about the new Dynamic M query Parameters and started using that immediately for direct queries from our SQL server. It was only after I set everything up did I notice that this feature isn't supported in standard SQL databases? It's such a shock. I mean most data usage/direct query for BI reports come from SQL servers and it doesn't support it?

I logged a issue on the forum and they noted a list of data sources this feature doesn't support which seems alot more than what this feature actually supports.

Could we add support for this feature for just even a sql server or SSAS database?
