    I cannot sign in with Power BI desktop - October 2016 version

    The error message is:
    Sorry, we encountered an error while trying to sign you in. Details Service returned error. check InnerException for more details

    I have no problem signing in on the Power BI service account or with the Power BI desktop - September 2016 version.

    I cannot sign in and cannot even reset the password. It asked me to contact admin..

    Is this only happening from one machine all computers with your identity?
