Link the value and number of the TOP N filter to a measure

the Top N filter by a value is great but it's always "hidden" in the visual filters. it would be nice to link the Top N value (example by sales, margin, Qty) and number (top 1, 2,3,4,5..) to a measure/parameter, so this could be dynamically changed with slicers on the report page.

Really require this. Don't remember this fully, but I think Tableau has a similar feature which allows users with more flexibility. The current workaround would be to create a measure based on the parameter value and use that measure in the filter. Would love to be able to accomplish this without having to burden our dashboards with so many measures.

Top N value used can be linked to any measure so this is not a problem. However, changing the top N number (top 1, 2,3,4,5..) can be changed only in the filter panel. it should be possible to link this to a parameter (slicer) to add it as a filter in the report canvas area (not in the filter panel).
