We currently have products that basically integrate the reports and the app users just view the reports. It wont make much sense for all the app users to purchase pro license as all they do is view the reports when in the app.

I would like to express my disagreement with Microsoft in an issue that has to do with Power BI licences, where they have not valued the small and medium enterprises, considering the fact that Office365 defends integration between both the applications.
In particular, the problem is that to be able to see the shared reports and, for example, to integrate them in Sharepoint, a Power BI PRO licence is required and that supposes an additional cost to the license of Office365 and, as I repeat, it is only for reading. Microsoft should look for a more economical solution to solve this problem, at least for reading.
In my case, my company consists of approximately 45 people, with Essentials and Premium licences of Office365. We also have 3 Power BI PRO licences, but for the economic cost we rule out acquiring 42 more licences, which means having to copy the reports several times according to organization's profiles, removing the pages that do not interest and publishing them on the WEB, affecting the load in the update from the gateway and the maintenance of the reports.
Another solution that Microsoft could incorporate without affecting licences is that a data source (the tables) could have different reports linked to this origin, in this way there would only be an update of the tables and different reports could be published on the web, each one with its corresponding pages. In this case, a PowerBI PRO licence would not be necessary.
This problem causes that this excellent tool integrated in the Office365 world, is considerably disadvantaged by price compared to other solutions on the market.
I will be grateful if the Power BI team could work on solving this problem.

I was just working on implementing PowerBI for my organization and was unaware of these changes. I was rudely made aware of it when I went to re-share my dashboard and the option was gone. So much for finally getting a good thing from MS without paying thru the nose.
I agree with everyone as my users will look at data once a week a most. It is cost prohibitive to go this route now. So much for the great preview I gave the owners 2 weeks ago. I'm going to have to back peddle on this one now as I cannot justify the cost.

This is an essential feature. Creating this barrier to entry will guarantee that my organization will drop it. The ability to freely share dashboards to other associates who don not have a license or account is one of the most compelling reasons to use PowerBI. Only a few of us have any need form many of the PowerBI Pro features, and I can't justify the upgrade. Without this feature, my case for PowerBI is sunk.

Yes, this feature must be free, or at least with licence, that costs less than Power BI Pro licence
