I see this as a bug, not a feature, when PBI Table visualization sees a row of same values, it assumes them as duplicates and just hides them. If we have a list of employees with 5 John Does, the table visualization shows only one. This is madness. Please fix immediately..at least allow user to toggle "hide duplicates" to OFF.

RE: Show all data in table visualization, do NOT hide duplicates
Agreed, most users would regard this as a bug, not a feature. And it really undermines any confidence that end users have in the BI deliverable if countrows says that there are 5 records and the table visualization shows only 1. This is such a rudimentary requirement - why oh why can't we just allow duplicates? Microsoft, if you are still listening in 2023, please finally end this torment.
RE: Show all data in table visualization, do NOT hide duplicates
This is a very serious issues I am facing with my application. I'm taking users who are coming from Spotfire, and this is the NUMBER 1 issue they're all struggling with Power BI right now, and the only hack is to implement the idea of an index column.
RE: Show all data in table visualization, do NOT hide duplicates
End user asking me why they cannot see all 3 records! :) they only can see 1 record!!!!
Indexing is not an option for me because table format is determine by government.
It is very basic for a table, sometimes we need to pass data to user !
Power BI does not have this basic reporting need!
I had same issue previously.
I tick show item with no data and it show all. It is not working like that anymore !
RE: Show all data in table visualization, do NOT hide duplicates
I understand that Power BI is an analytical tool for use cases where individual rows are typically aggregated. There are circumstances where I would like to see when there are duplicate rows in a table visual, however. In my particular case, we have a logging table used for drillthrough. The primary page shows a count of entries in the table, and the drillthrough allows users to log at details. There are circumstances where the log data has duplicates, and so the count and the row-level details don't match. I can add an index column, but it's artificially required simply to show the raw data. I would prefer a setting on the table visual to show duplicate rows.
RE: Show all data in table visualization, do NOT hide duplicates
Yes, i agree with this. It's an 'undocumented feature' and not intuitive.
