Resize bar width for a single bar

Is it possible to make a single bar in a stacked chart wider than they appear by default?
It takes more space in a chart, to increase a bar, need to increase a size of whole chart then only it is visible.
Can we get a option to increase the width of a single bar stacked chart?

Any update on this Microsoft? It would be very helpful. Tableau has this feature already :(

As a visual the current bar chart provides far too much white space unless I have many categories.

Surely best idea would be to vary width of blank space between bars (minimum 0), perhaps as a proportion of the bar width; we use date based column charts with time brush, so really need column width to increase as you zoom in
