Need the ability to manage the styling of many visualizations programmatically. The current theme requirement to use JSON is inefficient. We cannot use classes and id's for encapsulation. Also, there is no way to add comments to the JSON code The PBI Desktop import will error out every time unless you do some clever use of existing properties. Finally, linking multiple visualizations (e.g. visualizations in a workspace) to one external style object would be very helpful. Currently, if I get an executive that wants to change the background colors, I have to modify the JSON and then manually reload + publish it in every report. Lastly, JSON for styling?!?!
There should be better functionality to manage visualization styling at an enterprise level!
