I'd like to see the app use barcodes to do an AR overlay of a filtered report, similar to what happens with the QR codes, but with some improvements.

In the mobile app (iphone now, android hopefully coming soon), you can use an AR overlay to replace a QR code you're looking at with a dashboard tile. This is nice, but requires us to set up a dashboard tile for each item we want to track, which isn't feasible for our inventory. You can set up a report to use barcode scanning to apply a filter which is also nice, but pushes the user into the report and makes them leave it again to scan a new item (meaning that checking multiple inventory items is cumbersome).

I'd like to see a combination of these two situations - when I open a report page, I can put it in a "barcode scanning mode" of some kind that shows what the camera sees, but for any barcodes it finds, it does an AR overlay of the filtered report page. We would use this functionality to set up an inventory status report and allow a warehouse technician to easily check the history, return date, and provisioning readiness for any shelf of devices that they have in the warehouse, easily pulling out any that need additional inspection or that have been otherwise flagged.
