In the past, when choosing a Sort by column (e.g. from the Modeling ribbon in Power BI Desktop), the selected column could contain blank values. I have many saved models with that scenario, the data refreshes without any issues. At some point, the validation logic in Power BI Desktop changed so that the selected column now cannot contain blank values - an error is thrown.
Please revert the logic so the selected column can contain blank values, for consistency with existing models.
