Please enhance the KPI visual in such a way that users have:
1. Ability to change the 'Goal' text to something else, e.g. 'MoM'
2. Ability to add multiple goals (1 primary that impacts main colour coding, icon etc, plus additional secondary goals (e.g. WoW or YoY))
3. Ability to customise 'alerts' indicators, e.g. only show negative warnings - show red circle/flag rather than exclamation
4. Ability to define a threshold for the neutral (e.g. +-2.5% change)
5. Ability to change layout, e.g. show indicators on side rather than beneath
6. The Display Units never seem to work on 'auto' for me with large numbers simply overrunning the KPI card limits.
7. Ability to change the font size
These are must-have features and will help a lot for us to come up with a good reports/dashboards.
Thanks!

RE: KPI visual enhancement
'+1 for the ability to change the "Goal" text. It is interesting that it says goal when the field well says "Target"

Can you drill through in dashboard view on the web-app?
RE: KPI visual enhancement
Are you able to drill through in Dashboard view once publish to the web?
RE: KPI visual enhancement
Has the KPI font size issue been resolved? Can any share some insight please.
RE: KPI visual enhancement
Totally agree. I can't use that visual because "Goal" confuses the user when I am trying to compare it to prior year - totally misleading and, thus, useless. Otherwise, it's a great little indicator.
RE: KPI visual enhancement
While we're at it, you should also be able to modify the size and font of the text. Sometimes it can really stand out if it does not match the rest of the report.
RE: KPI visual enhancement
There are much better KPI visuals out there that you have to pay for, but this seems like a pretty simple element for MS to address (though slightly over my skill level). And one for which their business intelligence tool is specifically created. So what gives?
RE: KPI visual enhancement
The text 'goal' should be editable by the user. Depending on the status of a project, in some organizations goal might not be the appropriate term to use. Neither would 'target' be but a more concrete term that you can easily tie to data should be used here eg. 'median', 'mean', 'sum'. So for that reason it should be editable by the user.

"Goal" in the KPI should be editable.
Depending on the context of your report, this may not be the "goal" for you stakeholders (e.g. year-on-year comparison).
RE: KPI visual enhancement
Some conditional formatting such as traffic lights should be included in KPIs
