We should have the option to do conditional formatting on entire row(like highlighting or colouring) based on the value of a particular column in Table

RE: Row Level conditional formatting based on value of a particular column in Table
My requirement is similar... I have a matrix that drills down 3 levels of categories per top level date. I would like to highlight the date row so users can easily identify this top level of the drilldown.
Oh, and I'm using Direct Query to a SSAS MD cube so no DMX/MDX in the background.
2020-01-27 <<< Highlight this row
category level 1
category level 2
category level 3
detail 1 Values, Values, Values
detail 2 Values, Values, Values
detail 3 Values, Values, Values
2020-01-26 <<< Highlight this row
category level 1
category level 2
category level 3
detail 1 Values, Values, Values
detail 2 Values, Values, Values
detail 3 Values, Values, Values
2020-01-25 <<< Highlight this row
category level 1
category level 2
category level 3
detail 1 Values, Values, Values
detail 2 Values, Values, Values
detail 3 Values, Values, Values
While we're asking for features, maybe highlight any of the Category rows too!
RE: Row Level conditional formatting based on value of a particular column in Table
if i condition format one field of a table, I should be able to expand it to the whole row in the table. it can be a On/Off feature when setting rules for conditional formatting. I do a workaround it right now (after the May 2018 release where you can condition any filed based on another field in the data model) by formatting all columns of the table with the same rule. But sadly this does not work in Matrix visual where conditional formatting is available only for "Values" fields and not the "rows" fields.
