    PBI rocks with ssas md and the gateway...but this is a big gap in functionality ... pretty new to both technologies, but not seeing an obvious workaround.

    Names sets are using in virtually all of our reporting from our cubes; without the feature a full transition to Power BI is impossible.

    without Named set support, I do not think power BI and SSAS tabular can provide a real Enterprise level solution.

    Please look into this, it's a very frustrating limitation that hinders Power BI adoption
