Pro users have the ability to schedule refresh for daily (intra day) and weekly. For some datasets, monthly is the right cadence. Can we have a scheduled refresh option that is Monthly (and lets us choose which day of the month the refresh is to occur)?

We would also be greatful if a monthly refresh option or at least similar option as on the Report Server would become available! Is there any update on this idea?

Please add monthly and quarterly as a scheduled refresh option. Our users require this for their dashboards. We use the same dashboard for 7 different clients and each client has their own refresh requirement for which monthly and quarterly are requirements. We desperately need this option sooner than later as we don't want to have to maintain scheduled refresh configurations in 2 different places.Do you think you are close to making it an option? We have a project deadline of August 31, 2023 and the admin comment on this idea stated that it was under review as of October 21, 2022.

We are trying to move to Power BI from other BI tools and this limitation is problematic. Every other BI Tool we use has a monthly scheduling option. Please make this available with Power BI.

It's alarming this hasn't been implemented yet. This tells me MS feels like it doesn't have competition here.

Weekly reports are not synced with other reporting systems. Trending Monthly is a standard for many distributed reports.

Please add monthly as a refresh option. Most healthcare reports are refreshed monthly.

I was about to put an idea up to this effect - An option similar to the subscription settings for users - the ability to select ranges or multiple days under a Monthly scope would massively help..

Any News on this? We are going to use Power Automate but it is going to be difficult for some of the users as they will not be able to directly see the refresh.Also as someone else mentioned - what about stopping a dataset refresh? Thanks

Fantastic idea. I would suggest also to add the option to choose whether the "scheduled refresh" should stop trying to refresh after 4 attempts.
