Introduce the ability to interactively explore data in tables without effecting visualizations. PowerPivot accomplishes this in an autofilter-esque column header in which you can interactively sort and filter, right click on any cell and filter column by that cells value. This capability is crucial when tracking down issues within the data model that cause errors or unpredicable behavior manifesting on the visualization layer.

RE: autofilter on tables view

Excel tables have autofilter. I want my powerbi reports to have autofilter too. I shouldn't have to manually create a slicer for every column in my table. All I want is a simple UX where I can uncheck things that are being shown - If I have a report that is "user failures this week" and the server was down for 10 minutes so there's a thousand "can't connect" errors, I don't want those to drown out other real user issues that I need to investigate based on that table. I should be able to trivially filter that error out of the table, showing me all the remaining rows.

RE: autofilter on tables view

I'd like to see something like this too. Say I have a sales table showing customers and products. I'd like to right click on a customer and select 'Filter to this record' or something similar. Then I'd see this customers product. In a similar way I could select a product and filter to see only customers who has purchased the product. I know this is possible with the current filtering options but this would make the process far simpler to the user.
In sure that the reason this idea isn't higher in the hot idea list is that it's not known as a single named technique. Or maybe it is and just don't know. Either way, it would be great and builds on the existing filtering options I believe.
