    Please provide a way to enable/disable Subtotals for columns for matrix visualization

    As in Excel, it would be nice to be able to add or remove subtotals by column for Matrix Visualization instead of having either totals for all columns or none.

    The matrix is unusable with more that one field without the ability to choose which level of the matrix you want the subtotal to display on. AKA it looks like crap with multiples of the same subtotal.

    Agreed! I would love to be able to have the same subtotal functionality that I'd have in a pivot table in this visualization. So often I want first and second level subtotals, but not at the lowest level, as it is often redundant and makes the visualization look busy. +3!!

    Yes. If you do not have categories/levels on rows in a matrix it looks awful. I need the matrix for the date dimension with single level row columns.

    Agreed. Many times, those simply get in the way.
